BEHIND THE LENS
Yours Truly was Co- Founded by Julia and Owen, with a vision to create images that resonated in a way that felt special to us and the couples that we worked with. We wanted to bring more art and soul into the work we create, rather than just following a standard copy paste approach. Our unique backgrounds allows us to supplement each other and work in a way which is able to deliver the best from both film and digital. Why? Ultimately we want your story to be more than just photos we want our couples to have memories to last them a lifetime
Alongside us we also work with a small team of highly creative and skilled individuals, who are all dedicated to creating beautiful and timeless images that will be cherished for years to come.
MEET JULIA
meet julia
I come from a Fine Art background, I studied at Monash Universty where I completed my Bachelors with a specialisation in Film Photography.
Photography has always been a huge passion of mine and I now have well over 10 years experience under my belt. For me shooting on film is as much about the process as it is the final result, it has allowed me to slow down and focus on the truly meaningful moments. Coming from an Arts background my approach has always been somewhat unconventional and creative; an approach that I have definitely carried over into my wedding work.
In my down time away from weddings you will find me exploring with my film camera, always chasing light or tending to my plants and veggie patch

meet owen
I come from an engineering background but I have always had a passion for photography. I entered the photography industry as a teen; doing photos for events, weddings which then expanded into my own business. My engineering background has instilled in me a meticulous attention to detail and a love for problem-solving. I approach photography with a methodical mindset, constantly seeking innovative solutions to capture the perfect shot. In my downtime I love to bake bread and work on my various engineering projects.
